ugh I have a scratched up disk of 2014 that wont play, it sucks.
I have played the RPCS3 copy, but it is super rough, gets seriously bogged down, bad audio stutter.
Hopefully within the next 5 years they can get another college football game, or maybe the SEC goes in on a deal for one. Mike Slive's SEC Football 2022

Can you install games to your hard drive on ps3 like you can on Xbox 360? I had the same issue. I borrowed another friend's disc and installed that to my hard drive. Then, I can use my scratched disc to play because it's only being utilized to make sure it's there.
Might be a work around for you.

Nice, I still have the game but my PS3 shite the bed a few years ago.
How exactly does this emulator work (since you said you have to have a copy of the game)....do you put the disc in the dvd drive of a PC after downloading the emulator from the RPCS3 website? is that all there is to it?

Your PC would also need a blu ray drive unless you burn a disk image.

nah, it should all work with both versions. they're actually changing the button images in the PS3 version of the game to Xbox so the PS3 emulator folks using Xbox controllers won't be confused.

Being able to go in and change every aspect of your unis/field keeps a dynasty fresh without having to job jump.
The modding process seems more difficult than it really is. And the guys running the discord are really helpful if you get stuck.

if you have a decent PC, i would suggest RPCS3. load/save times are basically non-existent compared to the PS3 console.
but yeah, that PS3 HEN installation is quite the process.
also, y'all should check out that r/NCAAFBseries subreddit. lots of cool stuff there. found this Aub/UGA miracle in jordan hare recreation in '05.

Man I want to go through with this but I’m not sure I can. I think installing HEN on my PS3 was about the extent of my capabilities.
I just can’t follow the tutorial of the actual modding aspect considering I can barely understand the guy and he’s blazing through it.

Havent tried modding yet but watched your video. That seems incredibly easy. As is usually the case with modding, finding & downloading the needed tools plus the mods that you want to add in usually takes multiple times longer than the actual process of importing those mods into the game. In the video, 14 field mods loaded in 22 seconds. You only did one conference in the video, but I assume it wouldnt be an issue to do fields for all of the conferences at once. You can likely import 70+ updated field mods in approx 2 minutes if you just knocked them all out at once
