FWIW, FN-Browning pistols were rare in this country prior to WWII, since FN and Colt had an agreement not to tread on each other's territory. While not an absolute rule, most sales of the Model 1910 were on the commercial market, while the Model 1922 was almost totally a military/police pistol. I have what appears to be an FN Browning Model 1922/10 with Nazi markings, ser # 8xxx. I cannot find any caliber markings on the pistol, but the mag is marked 7.65; is this the same as.32 ACP? I was wondering if anyone could provide any historical information as to when these were produced, what types of units they were issued to, etc.

Responding to a local classified, I was pleased to pick up this rather nice FN 1922, built in Belgium for the Dutch Contract around late 1936 to early 1938.
